The app was initially developed for the Friends Animal foundation. 

With a huge influx of pets waiting to be adopted, a huge influx of new applications and no way to keep track of applications; led to the initial development of the app.

The app is currently in development and below is a simple wireframe for the adopt-a-pet application.
